As a resident of Colorado, this is my first foray into growing fresh veggies and herbs INSIDE my home. We are just harvesting our first WINTER garden of romaine, arugula, and my all-time fave, butter lettuce, which is pretty expensive at the grocery store. We are also growing fresh basil, and catnip for my fur baby. which he absolutely loves. We are very pleased with the amount of lettuce we have grown and will be planting herbs in the next few weeks. Will be posting photos as they grow.

FAQ

  • How much can I grow indoors year-round?

It's possible to grow all of your greens, veggies, herbs, and fruits indoors year-round using a variety of technology and growing best practices. (Up to a few pounds/kilos of greens and herbs a week!)

  • Do I need a lot of space for indoor gardening with LED lights?

No, you don't. LED grow lights are versatile and can fit into small spaces like shelves or countertops. Container gardening and vertical setups also maximize space. The average indoor garden only takes up 4 square feet of indoor space.

Yes, with the right care and lighting, indoor plants can thrive and even outperform their outdoor counterparts. You have control over their environment, allowing for optimal growth conditions.

  • Can I save money by growing food indoors with LED lights?

Absolutely! By growing your produce, you'll save money on groceries while enjoying fresh, pesticide-free harvests.

  • Is indoor gardening with LED lights environmentally friendly?

Yes, it is. Indoor gardening reduces the need for long-distance food transportation and pesticides, contributing to a more sustainable, eco-friendly lifestyle.
